Lab: Writing and Summarization — Before/After

Goal: Complete one writing and one summarization task, capturing before/after for comparison.

Task A — Writing

1) Pick a short email or announcement you need to write. 2) Draft a quick "before" version (2–4 sentences). 3) Use your RTCE prompt to generate an improved version. 4) Ask for revisions (tone, length, bullets) until it fits.

Task B — Summarization

1) Copy a non-confidential paragraph or meeting notes. 2) Prompt: "Summarize in 3–5 bullets for a busy manager; include action items." 3) Adjust constraints (length, tone, audience) and iterate once.

Deliverable

• One before/after pair for writing and one summarized output, plus a 1–2 sentence note on what improved.
